INDUSTRIAL SERIES: BUILT TO LAST WITH HIGH-END PERFORMANCE FOR THOSE WHO DEPEND ON THEIR EQUIPMENT ALL DAY, EVERY DAY.
These machines are well known for their incredible cleaning power and speeds. This power has been harnessed and enjoyed over a wide breadth of applications, from casual homeowners to heavy industrial applications
The cleaning action of a pressure washer depends on these three elements.
1. AGITATION
This is the physical dislodging of the dirt particles that are attached to the surface. Traditionally this would be done with a brush and rinsing with water. A pressure washer combines these two elements in a single quick-acting stream of water. The impact force of the pressurized water hitting the surface combined with the natural properties of water dislodges surface contaminates and washes them away.
2. SOAP/DETERGENT
The application of chemicals will increase the speed and effectiveness of the cleaning process. Detergents chemically break the bond grease has with surfaces through a process referred to as ‘emulsion’. This is where oils turn into microscopic droplets that are dispersed into the water and are carried away by the agitation process.
3. HEAT
The single most influential factor for effective cleaning is temperature. Heat lowers water’s surface tension so it can penetrate grease at a molecular level. The increased energetic activity of the heated water molecules separates grease molecules from each other so that it looks like the grease is melting away. *Please note, do not run hot water into your pump unless your specific machine states it is capable to allow this.
